On the surface, this may seem - [Rt Rev Caleb Soo Aug 25 Newsletter Cover Note - Chinese](https://nccs.org.sg/2025/08/rt-rev-caleb-soo-aug-25-newsletter-cover-note-chinese/) - 尊敬的新加坡基督教会理事会成员与朋友: SG60庆典也是我们反思多元文化新加坡的时刻,因为神赐给我们一个独特的恩典:在同一座城市里,既有以英语为主的教会群体,也有以中文、泰米尔语等为主的教会群体。 表面上,这似乎只是语言的差异,但在属灵上,这正是一幅多元合一的图画。然而,如果我们各自在自己的圈子里努力,却缺乏交流与合作,我们就有可能容易错过基督身体合一所带来的祝福。我们不同语言的教会虽然各异,却是互补的。每个群体都承载着神的托付,也拥有彼此需要的恩赐。 保罗提醒我们:"身子原不是一个肢体,乃是许多肢体"(林前 12:14)。 作为一位讲华语的牧者,我深信在神眼中,新加坡的英语与华语教会不是两个平行世界,而是同属一个身体,被设计为彼此成全。例如,英文堂在多元事工上发展成熟:职场与专业群体事工、青年与跨文化宣教、数字化与创意事工的运用,都走在前列,也更容易与国际网络接轨。反过来,华文堂在中华文化与代际牧养上有深厚根基:熟悉家庭关系、长者与社区关怀、文化节庆布道(如农历新年、清明、中秋)等,触角贴近人心。 因此,当社会看到教会跨越语言、文化与世代的隔阂,在基督里彼此欣赏、互相成全,正活出了耶稣在约翰福音17章所祈求的:"使他们合而为一……叫世人相信你差了我来。" 诚然,英华教会的多元,是神给新加坡教会的礼物。若我们愿意放下隔阂、欣赏彼此、共享资源,我们将更有效地完成大使命,也在社会中显出基督的荣耀。 "愿主赐下谦卑与爱心,使众教会在基督里合而为一,让世人见证神的荣耀并归赞美与祂。" 阿们。 在主里与您同行的 苏立忠会正(博士) 新加坡基督教全国教会理事会副主席 - [Abp Titus Jul 25 Newsletter Message - Chinese](https://nccs.org.sg/2025/07/abp-titus-newsletter-message-chinese/) - 尊敬的新加坡基督教会理事会成员与朋友: 在基督教的年历中,有一段漫长的时期被称为“平常期”。这段平常期在教会年历中分为两个阶段:第一个阶段介于显现节与大斋节期之间,大约持续六周;另一个更长的阶段介于五旬节与降临节之间,大约持续25周。我们此刻正处于平常期。全年总计约31周――相当于全年60%的时间――都属于平常期。 庆祝重大基督教节日(如复活节、圣诞节等)固然美好,但我们更需要意识到:生命中那些看似平淡的漫长岁月也是同样重要的。这其中给我们的启发是清晰的――门徒之道不仅是在特殊活动中时刻的热闹,也关乎在日常生活中保持坚定的忠诚! 诚然,生命中多数时光都平平淡淡。当我们日复一日面对生活中的琐碎事务时,常会觉得岁月平凡无奇。然而正是在这平凡中藏着奇妙悖论:上帝也会出现在平凡的日子里,平凡日子也可化为不平凡!我们都记得摩西和燃烧的荆棘的故事。上帝在摩西忙于日常事务时向他显现(出埃及记第三章)。 愿主的恩典保守我们,无论身处平凡岁月或神圣时刻,始终持守忠诚。 在主里与您同行的 章剑文大主教 ( 博士 ) 新加坡基督教会理事会副主席 - [The Executive Committee delegation visited the Church in China on 23 – 29 April 2025](https://nccs.org.sg/2025/05/china-visit/) - (Link to Chinese report) A Brief Report The delegation of the National Council of Churches of Singapore comprising mainly Executive Committee members led by Bishop Lu Guan Hoe was invited by the National Committee of Three-Self Patriotic Movement of the Protestant Churches in China (TSPM) and the China Christian Council (CCC) to visit the Church - [新加坡基督教全国教会理事会 执行委员会委员於 2025 年 4 月 23-29 日访问中国教会](https://nccs.org.sg/2025/05/新加坡基督教全国教会理事会-执行委员会委员於-2025/) - (英文简报 ) 简报 由卢元和会督领导的本届新加坡基督教全国教会理事会(NCCS)接到中国三自爱国运动委员会(National Committee of Three-Self Patriotic Movement of the Protestant Church in China, TSPM),和中国基督教协会(China Christian Council Churches in China, CCC)邀请,到中国访问中国基督教会,日期为2025年4月23-29 日。 NCCS 与中国教会领袖们深厚的友谊,可以追忆过去几十年所建立的情谊。但在冠状病毒疫情期间,我们停止了互访。因此这次有机会受邀访问,是适时我们与老朋友重续多年友情的机会。 这次NCCS 访问中国教会的行程有三个地方,上海、南京和北京。 4月24日星期四,NCCS 访问了华东神学院。神学院院长谢炳国牧师连同好几位教务同工一起热情的迎接我们。学院安排穿戴各族民族服装的在藉学生载歌载舞的迎接我们。 接着我们参观了收藏从19世纪至20世纪中,丰富的教会历史和文献资料的图书馆。这次的访问,在谢炳国院长以丰盛的午餐款待我们后而结束。 下午,代表们到上海市两会办公室访问。三自爱国运动委员会主席徐玉兰牧师、上海市基督教会协会会长俞光植牧师及其他委员迎接我们。徐牧师向代表详细介绍了上海市教会的事工发展。她也分享了上海基督徒群体积极的探讨如何进行基督教中国化(Chinanization). 代表们有机会参观了“上海基督教中国化的实际经验” 展览。 傍晚时分, 我们得到上海市民族和宗教事务局毛云琪副局长招待我们丰富晚餐。 4月25日(星期五), NCCS代表们访问中国三自爱国运动委员会与中国基督教协会(全国两会)总部。三自主席徐晓鸿牧师和协会会长吴巍牧师热烈的接待我们,这反映了他们与新加坡教会的深厚情谊。吴巍牧师分享了新加坡基督教全国理事会与三一神学院几十年来帮助了中国的教会。这份友谊和善意,使我们两国的教会互相得益。会议在两会以丰盛欢愉的午宴中结束。在我们离开南京之前,代表们也参观了原属圣公会的圣三一堂。 在爱德基金会和爱德印刷公司,我们得到了丘仲辉董事长和他多名的董事们热烈欢迎。我们中国访问的联系员柯伟生先生曾经在这里担任爱德印刷公司的副总经理和爱德印刷公司的副董事长。 我们观赏了详细介绍爱德基金会和爱德印刷公司的工作影片后,就走访参观了印刷厂。我们被告知至今在国内分发了超过9千9百五十万本圣经。爱德印刷公司为我们设宴晚餐, 与江苏省三自主席阚仁平牧师一起欢迎我们的到访。 4月26日(星期六), 金陵协和神学院的副院长李江越牧师和副院长兼教务长文革教授及几位教务人员迎接欢迎我们到访。中国全国有22间神学院,唯有南京金陵协和神学院是全国性的神学院。 魏丰年博士回忆在1991年三一神学院接收了第一个来自大陆的神学生,开启了三一神学院与两会及中国教会的合作。魏博士也透露目前有8所神学院在新加坡一起服事新加坡的教会。教务长文革教授与我们分享了金陵协和神学院的发展,包括了博士课程。代表们参观了学院礼拜堂和学院校园建筑。享用了在学院为我们预备的午宴,我们就启程飞往北京。 NCCS 代表们抵达北京就直往餐馆,由北京市三自主席吴伟庆牧师设宴请我们享用晚餐。 在4月27日(主日),我们到具有历史性的也是北京最大教堂之一的崇文门教堂参加礼拜。主任牧师柳翠敏牧师和她的牧者同工接待我们代表共进午宴。 在午宴里彼此有非常热烈的分享有关中国和新加坡教会事工的交流。 4月28日(星期一),NCCS代表们拜访了中国国家宗教事务局十一局的黄志辉局长,黄局长和他的同事官员迎接我们。黄志辉局长向我们解释宗教局的职责是管理中国的宗教事务。章剑文大主教也分享新加坡教会也经历类似中国的基督教本色化。黄局长在会上分送代表们圣经。 结论 这次NCCS 代表们出访中国教会是在2019疫情爆发后,两国以远程视频开会后第一次实体的交往。我们看见了中国教会恢复了崇拜和各项事工的开展。在中国有3千8百万新教信徒。代表们深被中国基督徒持续不断的福音事工和福音见证的努力启发,他们都竭尽所能要使福音更切合中国人民。 NCCS 代表们热诚的邀请中国教会莅临访问新加坡,使我们在已经具有深厚情谊的交往里,继续在基督里的服事与事工里分享合作。我们非常感恩感激得到中国教会给予我们热情温馨慷慨大方的接待我们。 - [AGM 8 May 2025 Photos](https://nccs.org.sg/2025/05/agm-8-may-2025-photos/) - [A faith-based charity needs a temporary home during its redevelopment.](https://nccs.org.sg/2025/05/a-faith-based-charity-needs-a-temporary-home-during-its-redevelopment/) - A faith-based charity, with a long-standing ministry in Singapore, is embarking on redevelopment of its building, anticipated to start in January 2026. Later, in view of Malaysia and Singapore having separated and become independent sovereign nations, it was considered desirable to - [Euthanasia 针对安乐死的声明 - 6 November 2008](https://nccs.org.sg/euthanasia-针对安乐死的声明-6-november-2008/) - 新加坡基督教会协进会 针对安乐死的声明 美国医药协会理事会探讨道德与司法课题时指出:“安乐死通常被定义为一种基于慈悲的理由,以快速无痛的方法让一个患上不治之症、受病痛折磨的病人结束生命的行动。” 主动安乐死指的是采取积极行动(比如注射毒药)结束受病痛折磨病人的生命。被动安乐死指的是采取消极行动,停止为病人提供所需的医护或食物和水,蓄意造成病人的死亡。非自愿安乐死指的是在没有得到病人的明确同意下结束他的生命;自愿安乐死指的是在病人的要求或同意下采取安乐死;无自愿安乐死指的是对一个没有理解能力、无法表达自己意愿(例如,婴孩,或一个严重脑受损、痴呆的病人)的病人施行安乐死。 虽然新加坡基督教会协进会支持也鼓励以慈悲心怀回应人的痛苦,但基于以下原则明确反对所有形式的安乐死: 1. 人的生命是神圣的。新加坡基督教会协进会认为人的生命是创造主上帝所赐的礼物。上帝是所有生命的源头,只有祂拥有生与死的权柄。人是依照上帝的形象造的,因此人的生命应赋予相对的尊严和价值。人的生命是珍贵的,因此应该加以保护。这也表示人的生命具有与生俱来的价值,而且不附带任何条件。一个罹患慢性或末期病症的病人虽然痛苦,但是他们的生命与健康人的生命拥有同等的价值。 2. 人的生命应受尊重。十诫的第六诫就是“不可杀人”,这说明人的生命是神圣的,因此必须受到尊重。同样的,这条诫命也禁止自杀。这原则是以严禁有意识地杀害无辜生命的法律为基础。这个诫命适用于安乐死,因为它禁止以某种蓄意或疏忽行动结束一个人的生命,即使此人是处在病危的状况。新加坡基督教会协进会因此宣告人没有自寻死亡的权利。虽然人是自由的个体,但他们行使自由的权限不包括终止自己的生命。 3. 医疗服务的本质。安乐死或“安乐死术”违法基本医疗服务的本质和精神。因为医生的职责永远是医治而不是杀害。安乐死的病人不是因病致死,而是被医生杀死。这种行动不但违反医学之父希波克拉底的传统,同时也违反犹太-基督教的教导。医生的职责不只是“减轻痛苦”而是要“加强医护”。安乐死的论点是把有意识地杀死一个罹患重病者当成是可接受的“处理”方法。这是绝对不可接受的事。 4. 安乐死与社会。安乐死若获得法律的许可与社会人士的认可,将会形成一种“安乐死心态”,把死亡视为解决末期病症的唯一方法,因而不考虑其他医疗方式。这将对社会造成严重负面影响。死亡将成为许多社会弊病的解决方法。就如堕胎被视为解决意外怀孕的答案,所以安乐死将会变成解决病痛的方法。像这样的社会,会让那些病痛、年老、弱势者误以为自己是社会的负担,因此他们“有责任去死”,这将贬低人生命的价值。 我们塑造社会,而社会也塑造我们。一个接受或认可安乐死的社会会轻易受影响,而造成严重的后果。以为安乐死只是医生依照病人及其家人的指示行动而已,这是错误的想法。安乐死不只是一对一的杀害,而是整个社会的屠杀,而且会严重影响我们对自己以及对生命的看法,导致严重的滥用,最终威胁个人与社会的权利与尊严。 社会有责任照顾病痛与病危的人。新加坡基督教会协进会认为社会群体应该为罹患慢性和末期病症者提供最好可行的舒缓护理。疼痛控制是提高生命品质的主要因素。证据显示那些要求安乐死的病人多数是因为得不到足够的舒缓护理、疼痛控制和治疗。一旦他们的病症及疼痛受得控制,他们就不再要求安乐死。因此,该做的是拨出更多基金设立临终院,为医生与护士提供临终护理训练,以及研究末期医疗和缓解病症的处理方法等。 真正的仁慈不是让受苦(或我们不忍心看他们受苦)的人结束生命,而是分担他们的痛苦。新加坡基督教会协进会坚持以安乐死的方法处理罹患慢性和末期病症者既不人道,也不仁慈。本协进会也坚持医生和保健护理专业人员的基本目的是以慈悲心怀照顾患病、残疾和垂死的人。他们需要鼓励病症处理和减轻痛苦,以改进病人的生命品质。以安乐死达到这个目的做法必须严加禁止。死亡永远不是治疗的选择之一。 公布于2008年11月6日 - [240411 Lasting Power of Attorney and Advanced Care Plan talk to church leaders](https://nccs.org.sg/240411-lasting-power-of-attorney-and-advanced-care-plan-talk-to-church-leaders/) - Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) and Advanced Care Plan (ACP).
