MCF NS Conference 2026, “Following Jesus During National Service”, organised by Military Christian Fellowship Singapore, aims to help participants stay rooted in Christ, build meaningful Christian community in NS, and prepare for a life of service both during and beyond NS. It is designed for pre-enlistees, full-time National Servicemen (NSFs), NSmen, regulars serving in the SAF, SCDF and SPF, as well as parents and church leaders who wish to support young men in their journey of faith through NS.

Trinity Theological College is pleased to offer a series of courses for the Christian public for the third quarter of 2026. The subjects in these courses are explored in depth by EQUIP instructors who include both TTC faculty and other guest lecturers, all of whom are highly qualified subject matter experts in their fields. By utilizing these tools, we as Christians can better love our neighbors, protect our shared home, and witness to our community through tangible acts of stewardship, making a meaningful difference for our planet and for future generations.
Past Events
Marriage, Parenthood, and the Role Religious Communities Play. On Wednesday, 9 September 2026, the National Council of Churches of Singapore hosted a dialogue with Minister Indranee at the St Andrew’s Cathedral New Sanctuary.
The session brought together 104 pastors and church leaders. Attendees gained deeper insights into Singapore’s current demographic challenges and the Government’s strategic plans and priorities. The conversation highlighted the vital role churches play as pillars of community life, nurturing relationships and supporting families across all seasons of life. The session concluded with an engaging and fruitful dialogue between Minister Indranee and the participants, strengthening the partnership between church leaders and the Government in building strong, supportive families. Engagement Session with Charity Council. The Charity Council invited relevant Christian charities/church leaders for an engagement session with the leadership of the Charity Council: its Chairperson, Ms Theresa Goh, as well as the Commissioner and members of the Council. The event was supported by NCCS and held on 21 August 2026 afternoon at St Andrew’s Cathedral.
National Day Thanksgiving Service 2026 (NDTS). The annual National Day Thanksgiving Service organised by NCCS was held on Thursday, 13 August at 7.45pm at the Cathedral New Sanctuary, St Andrew’s Cathedral. The speaker was Rt Rev Dr Caleb Soo, the Synod Moderator of The Presbyterian Church in Singapore. The service was conducted with inclusivity in mind, with participation from the blind, deaf and autistic persons. The offerings collected during the Service was channeled for the work of St Luke’s Hospital.
Ethos Conversation 2026 “Geopolitical Challenges and the Church” On July 24, 2026, Adam Road Presbyterian Church hosted the Ethos Conversation 2026, a forum focused on helping the Singaporean Church navigate the complexities of an increasingly volatile geopolitical landscape with wisdom, conviction, and prayerfulness. The 90-minute dialogue featured insights from Elder Gan Kim Yong—Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry, also an Elder at Chen Li Presbyterian Church, alongside Rev Dr Christopher Chia, Senior Pastor of Adam Road Presbyterian Church and former Synod Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Singapore (2023–2025).
Christian Booth at Harmony Fest! NCCS was invited by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) to set up a joint booth with the Catholic Church on the Christian Faith. This flagship community event celebrates our nation’s multicultural and multi-religious diversity. The 4 July Harmony Fest! was a day-long event featuring display booths and multicultural performances along the theme, “Interweaving: SG in Harmony”. See REPORT / PHOTOS
Play “越风雨，见证辽阔” (“The Unsent…”) 17-18 Apr. The Chinese Work Committee of the NCCS founder denominations organized a play/musical performance at Capitol on 17 and 18 April. This play tells the true story of a Christian, who overcomes a painful past to help prison inmates, only to discover her own father was among them, ultimately finding strength in faith and family. It is a testament that through life’s storms, love guides one to witness immense hope and healing.
NCCS team visits MUIS. NCCS President, Bishop Philip Lim and colleagues visited Dr Nazirudin Mohd Nasir, the Mufti of Singapore at the Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS) on 16 April. They were warmly welcomed by Dr Nazirudin and his colleagues. The visit served as a meaningful gesture of appreciation for the enduring friendship between the two religious organisations against the backdrop of the Hari Raya festive season. PHOTOS
Church leaders visit St Luke’s Hospital (SLH) In a step towards strengthening the partnership between healthcare and the faith community, SLH hosted representatives of NCCS Executive Committee and member churches/organisations on 20 March. Six Principals of Theological Schools in Singapore were hosted to fellowship lunch by the NCCS on 24 March. These theological schools represent a wide spectrum of Christian traditions and they support our churches by training and equipping pastors and ministry staff for Singapore and overseas. We are indeed blessed by the collaboration of their competent faculty members who are a rich resource for our churches. PHOTO
Visitors from the Institute of Religious Studies of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) led by Professor Yan Kejia (晏可佳) were welcomed by NCCS on 23 December. The SASS is a leading think-tank and China’s oldest institution for the humanities and social sciences. It is the largest academic institution of its kind in China outside of Beijing. PHOTOS
